during the summer of 2011 techsol were approached to support the product development, optimisation/analysis and tooling introduction of a new suspension component for the discovery automobile.  it was a challenging component with all the traits of component fatigue without some skill full and adapt considerations to component design.

drawing on years of high volume manufacturing and product development experience, techsol applied due diligence in ensuring the most effective optimisation was performed.  FEA, Moldflow and thickness analysis were just some tools used in the development cycle, these coupled with the 30 plus years toolmaking experience at experience enabled us ensure the components integrity was fit for function.

the final element of the project was injection mould tool design, manufacture and introduction.  techsol developed a unique concept for manufacture which enabled mass component production with unprecedented quality from an elite mould tool that continues to produce product with issue to this very day.
