designed for monitoring patients aspirated airflow within the medical sector, the flowhead sensor was always going to be a challenging component due its requirement for extremely tight manufacturing tolerances and a unique undeveloped internal ‘polymer’ mesh replacement geometry.
the flowhead sensor is an excellent example of how applying intelligent design principles can generate a significant part count reduction, in this case from six down to one.
with this project brief techsol were not only given the opportunity to utilise our excellence in design but also a possibility to demonstrate the effectiveness of how our slogan ‘from concept to manufacture’ truly can be a benefit managed all from under one roof!
working closely with our far eastern toolmaking partner and moulding in our uk facility we have clearly shown how working with techsol from project conception to launch truly is the right way to get things done quickly and right first time.
peter bachelor, owner of b&d electromedical stresses “to date all products developed by techsol have been of super quality, they have an exceptional approach and eye for detail coupling this with their technical capability has enabled b&d to stride forward with their product range faster than ever before”
